Teaching Style
- Structured curriculum with engaging, communicative lessons
- Suitable for teachers of all experience levels
Work Schedule
- 35-hour work week (excluding daily 45-minute breaks)
- 5 working days / 2 fixed rest days
- Classes mainly held afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Typical day:
- 5–6 hours of teaching
- Mix of children’s and adult classes
- Total working time: approx. 7 hours/day
Salary & Benefits

- ¥270,000 gross per month

Requirements
To qualify for an ECC teaching position, applicants must meet the following:
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) from a recognized institution
- Native-level English proficiency
- (Education from Grade 1 through high school conducted primarily in English)
- Valid passport from an English-speaking country (or ability to obtain one)
- Ability to attend a 1-day recruiting session
- Availability to begin work within 3–12 months
- Commitment to at least one full contract year
- Sufficient relocation funds
- (ECC recommends at least ¥200,000)
