HOPPA is seeking passionate and energetic English teachers to join our team across multiple locations in Japan. Our pre-schools cater to children from 0 to 5 years of age, and we're looking for teachers who are excited about working with young learners.
Key Requirements:
- Location: Must currently reside in Japan.
- Language: Native-level fluency in English.
- Visa: Must hold a valid work visa with at least 6 months remaining.
- Experience: Experience with young children is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Position Highlights:
- Contract: Full-time teaching position on a one-year contract, with the possibility of an extension or transition to a permanent role based on performance.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (1-hour break).
- Holidays: Weekends and most public holidays off (118 days), plus 10 paid public holidays after 6 months.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: ¥220,000 to ¥240,000 per month.
- Bonus: Two bonus payments annually (approximately equivalent to one month’s salary each).
- Benefits: Health insurance, pension, and travel expenses (up to ¥30,000/month) covered.
- Stability: Long-term job security with the possibility of a permanent contract.
Additional Allowance: In addition to the base salary, teachers also receive a government-provided "Treatment Improvement Allowance," which is included in the monthly paycheck. The amount varies by location and ranges from approximately ¥6,000 to ¥13,000 per month.
